GLACIER GIRL FLIGHT The Glacier Girl will return to Middlesboro the week of June 17th to prepare for its' voyage to England. The take off of the mission is schedule for 12 noon weather permitting.

July 21:

CRUISIN the CRATER Cars, motorcycles, hot rods are all welcome. Oldies DJ will entertain you and your families and friends.Every third Saturday at the Middlesboro Mall  May through October 6:00pm-10:00pm this event will bring you nothing but total enjoyment.

LINCOLN SCHOOL ALUMNI HOMECOMING This homecoming will consistof a 3-day weekend with plenty of planned events filled with fun for the whole family and friends. VJMC, 30th ANNIVERSARY The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club of North America. Inc., will present its Seventh Annual National Rally in the town of Cumberland Gap, TN. Come and see beautifully restored and preserved Vintage Motorcycles of the '60' through '80's. Please visit our website at www.vjmc.org for additional detailes.

September 7:

THE CUMBERLAND GAP CAMPAIGN The Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum, Harrogate, Tn. will feature a weekend of a Living History Encampment and Battles for the Cumberland Gap, its the Second in a Trilogy of Battles along the Wilderness Road. Its considered by some "the Gibraltar of the West," the Cumberland Gap changed hands four times during the war. Fierce fighting raged all across Tennessee but none dramatic than the struggles to control the Gap. Join us as we visit Union and confederate encampments, "Meet the Generals,: attend a Civil War Church service, and refight the battles for the famous Cumberland Gap.

September 15:

October 5-7:

CUMBERLAND MOUNTAIN FALL FESTIVAL Arts, crafts, live entertainment, pagent, lumberjack show, carnival, car show, kids games, and many more events , contests, and food. Put this date on your calender to attend its the perfect family entertainment night.

November 16:

LINCOLN at GETTYSBURG; A PROCLAMATION of FREEDOM Abraham Lincoln Library & museum, Harrogate, TN., will present the most famous battle of the Civil War that was fough in and around a small town in Pennsylvania. This three-day battle, fough in mid-summer's heat, was considered the high-water mark of the confederacy and resulted in thousands killed, injured, or missing. Several months later President Lincoln was asked to say a "few appropriate words" of decation for the new cementery located on a portion of the battlefield. Our observation of that historic occasion will feature Lincoln presenter, Dennis Boggs, delivering the Gettysburg address along with observations of famous battle by Gettysburg residents, officers, and soldiers involved in theat bloody battle, and nurses left to struggle with the aftermath of the battle. This is FREE to the public, so plan your day for and awsome event.

CHRISTAMS WITH THE LINCOLNS Abraham Lincoln library & Museum, Harrogate, TN. wants to invite you to Visit Civil War winter encampments as both Union and Confederate soldiers celebrate the Christmas holiday-Listen as they discuss their hopes for the future, see their sadness as they face yet another Christams away from their families and enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the Civil War years.This is FREE to the public and an experience you won't forget, bring the whole family.
