Originally opened by the Van Beber family, local business people, Tom & Jackie Epperson bought what was then called the Van Beber Motor Court in the late 60's, and they still own and run it today! We are proud of our history and of all the guests that we have served over the years.
 The Epperson family have been fixtures of Middlesboro life for generations. Epps Motors has literally sold tens of thousands of new and used trucks and autos to families in the tri-state area. In addition, to running the hotel, Jackie has been involved in many area groups. She was instrumental in the formation of the Bell County Tourism Commission and still serves on it's board of directors. Tom is know far and wide as an honest, trustworthy businessman and friend.
